What is Kino Club?

Kino Club is a modern and user-friendly film club filled with carefully selected films and entertainment experiences. We want to be a modern film universe that exudes joy and community, and where our members can watch a lot of good films together. The Kino Club platform is open 24 hours a day, and there is always room for you here.

What does it mean that Kino Club is a film club?

Good movies must be seen together, and therefore we have a strong focus on creating a club full of fun and traditions, where people can enjoy a good movie together. We love to engage our members, and therefore we will talk about the films together on our social media, organise fun competitions and tell stories from the world of films in our newsletters and on Kino News.

How much does a Kino Club membership cost?

You can create an account at Kino Club for free, which gives access to our platform. Then you can freely browse through our exciting films and experiences.

If you want to watch the movies at Kino Club, you need a membership. You can get this in 2 different ways:

Who are Kino Clubs' partners?

How do I create an account and membership myself?

You can create an account at Kino Club for free, which gives access to the club. Then you can freely browse our exciting films and experiences.

Create an account - how to do it:

1. Open the Internet on your computer and go to kinoclub.com

2. Press the "Join / Log in" button

3. Press the "Sign up now" button

4. Fill in your information and press the "Create account" button

5. You now have access to Kino Club and can now move freely in the film universe - all for free

When you are ready to start watching movies at Kino Club, you must have a membership attached to your account. As a new member you can get a free trial period at Kino Club. After this the cost is DKK 49. pr. month.

Buy membership - how to do it:

1. Open the Internet on your computer and log in to your Kino Club account

2. Go to any movie and press "Buy Membership"

3. Choose the membership you want

4. Proceed to payment and enter your payment information.

As soon as you have completed the purchase, your Kino Club membership will be created, and you will have access to our world of movies and entertainment.

Your membership will then be automatically renewed until you choose to cancel it.

How do I log into Kino Club?

When you need to log in to your Kino Club, there are different ways to do this, depending on whether you use your computer, TV, mobile phone or tablet.

PC

1. Open an internet browser on your computer and go into play. kinoclub.com

2. Log in with your email and the password you have chosen.

3. Now you have access to Kino Club up can enjoy our movie universe directly from your computer screen

TV, mobile phone or tablet

Make sure you have downloaded the Kino Club app to your TV, mobile phone or tablet. Read more about how to do this in "Where Can I Watch Kino Club?"

When the app is downloaded, you must:

1. Open the Kino Club app

2. Log in with your email and the password you have chosen.

3. Now you have access to Kino Club up can enjoy our movie universe directly from your screen

I forgot my password, what do I do?

When creating a Kino Club account, you will also be asked to select a password, which must be at least 6 letters / numbers. It is important that you choose something you can remember, because you must use the password every time you log in to Kino Club. Should you have forgotten your password, you have the option of having a reset link sent to your email.

Reset your password.

1. Go to the login page at play.kinoclub.com

2. Click on the text "Forgot your password?"

3. Enter the email you used to create your account

4. Press the "Send instructions" button

5. Go to your mailbox and find the email we have sent you

6. Press the "Reset password" button

7. Choose a new password and confirm it

What types of devices can I enjoy Kino Club on?

With Kino Club you can watch movies unlimited, anywhere, and anytime. All you need is your TV, computer, mobile phone or tablet and an internet connection. You can also download your favorite content in advance, and not be dependent on an internet connection on the go.

Android phone and tablet

Make sure your phone or tablet is up to date with the latest operating system. At present, Kino Club works with the operating systems Android 5 or later.

LG Smart TV

At present, Kino Club works on LG Smart TV with the operating systems WebOS 3.0 (2016) or later.

Android TV

Computer – how to:

3. Congratulations - you are now logged in and can explore Kino Club's entertainment universe.

On Windows computers, we recommend that you use Chrome, Firefox, or Edge with Windows 10 or later.

If you have a Mac computer, we recommend that you use Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. Always make sure you have the latest updates installed.

How do I watch on TV apps and Chromecast?

How many different computers, TVs, mobiles, and tablets can I have associated with my account at once?

You can have up to 5 different devices (TV, computers, mobile phones and/or tablets) associated with your account at a time. You can use the Kino Club on up to 2 screens at the same time.

How do I delete devices from my Kino Club account?

If you want to delete some of the devices associated with your account, you can easily do this yourself. It could, for example. be because you have reached your maximum number of units and want to remove one, to add another.

Delete devises:

1. Open Kino Club on a computer or browser and log in.

2. Click on "My Profile" at the top right

3. Go to My Profile

4. Press "Clear device list"

5. Your device list is now cleared - don't worry, you will not be logged out

How can I tell if a movie costs anything?

In addition to our free content, we occasionally might also offer special promotions on selected content that you can rent on the platform. To make it easy to see which movies you must rent to watch, we have marked them with a padlock.

How much does it cost to buy or rent a movie at the Kino Club?

The price of rental films at Kino Club varies depending on the type of content you are interested in. You will find the price of your chosen content when you go to the film's page. Once you have rented a movie, it is available to you for 48 hours from the time of rental. This means that you have 48 hours to start watching it and see it finished, counting from the moment you rented it.

Where do I find the movie I bought or rented?

As soon as you have rented a movie, it will be visible on 'My List'. Find them under the 'My Rented Movies'.

Once you have rented a film, you will also receive a receipt by e-mail. You can always use this to find your way back to the movies.We also recommend that you add your rental movies to My Movie List so you can easily access them again. To do this, go to the movie page and press 'Add to my list'.

Once you have rented a movie, it is available to you for 48 hours from the time of rental. This means that from the time you rent the movie, you have 48 hours to start and finish watching it.

Can I watch rental movies on my Mobile or TV-app?

You can play your rental movies on your mobile or TV app. To do this, you must first rent it on your computer at play.kinoclub.com.

Once you have rented the movie here, it will be added to My List on all your devices, and you are free to select which TV, mobile phone, tablet or computer you want to play it on.

Once you have rented a movie, it is available to you for 48 hours from the time of rental. This means that from the time you rent the movie, you have 48 hours to start and finish watching it.

How can I save movies I'd like to watch later?

If you find a movie at Kino Club that you would like to save and watch later, you can add them to 'My List'

Adding Movies to My List:

1. Go to the page of the desired movie

2. Tap the circle with a plus that says 'Add to My List'

3. You have now saved the movie to your list.

Find My List :

1. To find the movies you have added, go to 'My List' and tap on it.

2. Your saved movies are here under 'My Movie List'

Remove movie from My List :

1. If you want to remove the movie again, go to the page of the desired movie

2. Tap the circle with an X that says 'Remove from My List'

3. You have now removed the movie from your list.

What does My List mean?

In the My List category, you will find different types of movies that you have interacted with:

1. Keep watching - the movies you have started watching but have not finished

2. My Rental Movies - the movies you have rented

3. My Movie List - the movies you saved because you want to be able to find them again later

Do how I add subtitles?

On the vast majority of our films, you have the option of selecting subtitles. When you are playing the movie, you can select subtitles . The icon for this looks different depending on the type of device you are on. Look for an icon that looks like a gear or an icon that looks like a square with 2 lines in it. If you are in doubt, then you can calmly try your hand at it.

On some of our films we also have the option to choose another language. You will find this setting in the same place as you select subtitles.

Can I watch Danish movies with Danish subtitles?

In some cases, we do have subtitles on our Danish films, but this is not always the case. You can see if more languages ​​and subtitles are available when you are playing the movie. Look for an icon that looks like a gear or an icon that looks like a square with 2 lines in it. If you are in doubt, then don’t hesitate to try out the options.

Why do movies sometimes disappear from Kino Club?

We always strive to have a large and exciting selection of films. That is why we carefully choose our content, based on our members. Sometimes movies can disappear from the platform, either because we do not experience interest in it or because we no longer have the rights to the movie.

When do I have to pay for something at Kino Club?

You can create a Kino Club account for free, which gives access to the club. Then you can look around a bit in our exciting films and experiences.

Where can I add or update my debit card?

If you have a debit card linked to your Kino Club account, you can find it on the website play.kinoclub.com:

3. Go to My Profile in the right corner

4. Go to Payment

5. If you do not have a card attached, you can click "Add Payment Method" and add a card.

6. If you do have a card attached, you can see it here. You can update the card by clicking on "Update Payment Method".

Right of withdrawal at Kino Club

Kino Club is a service that opens up immediately after an account / membership is created. This means that immediately after entering into a membership agreement, we make our service available to you. As soon as delivery of our service has begun, there is no right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act.

How do I turn on Parental controls?

As a member of Kino Club, you can turn on parental control in your account. With parental control turned on, watching movies with an age limit of 15 years or more, must be approved with a PIN sent to your email before playing.

To turn on parental controls:

1. Open your Kino Club on a computer or browser.

2. Click on "My Profile" at the top right

3. Go to settings

4. Press the button next to "Activating Parental Control"

5. An approval message pops up - press the "send now" button

How do I cancel my membership?

If you wish to cancel your Kino Club membership, you can do so on the website play.kinoclub.com

1. Go to My Profile

2. Here you will find a button to terminate your membership.

Alternatively, you can send us an email at support@kinoclub.com

Your termination must be received no later than 2 days before your membership is automatically renewed. If you do not manage to terminate the membership in time, you will automatically start next month's membership.

How do I terminate my membership through a partner?

If you have a membership through one of our partners, you must contact this partner to terminate your Kino Club membership.
